Nyköping's oldest industrial company, Wedholms, was founded by Mr. Carl August Wedholm.
MACHINING EXCELLENCE!
Our company group has been a long-standing partner over time in the manufacturing industry and has its legacy in one of Nyköping’s oldest industrial company, Wedholms, founded by Mr. Carl August Wedholm in 1879. A part of our company history has its origin from the Swedish national nuclear research program, based in Studsvik where the company Precisionsmekanik were located. During 1999 Precisionsmekanik was merged into the Wedholms Teknik AB. In 2009 the company changed its name into KWD Production AB.
FINSPÅNG
In Finspång we have been located since 1954. The philosophy was to early adapt new manufacturing technology and the first CNC machine was in place during 1970, a SMT CNC Lathe.
TURNMILL AB
TurnMill AB was founded in 1991. One of the early focus areas for the company was to supply to the Ericsson Company and other OEM’s in the electromechanical field with turned and milled parts in high volumes. A continuously business development within the high-volume segment led into the establishment of the subsidiary TurnMill China in 2013.
TURNMILL GROUP
During 2016 the companies of TurnMill AB, TurnMill China, KWD Production AB, Finspångs Finmekaniska AB and Finspångs Finmekaniska Verkstad AB was organized under the umbrella as TurnMill Group. And since late 2016 our sales company in Poland, TurnMill Polska, was founded for further growth in central Europe.
At the year end of 2017 the KWD Production AB was merged into TurnMill AB and Finspångs Finmekaniska Verkstad AB was merged into Finspångs Finmekaniska AB.
Linköpings Rostfria AB and B.M.T Engineering d.o.o was included in the TurnMill Group January 2018.
